Skin health surveillance is recommended for workers handling substances, being in an environment or engaging in processes that may be harmful to the skin.

Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH)

HSE (UK) gives guidance on such situations.

Skin health surveillance is a combination of completing a questionnaire and examinations of the skin. This is done at the start of the role and at intervals for as long as the exposure remains.
